Dimi Paun

A respected consultant, Dimi Paun founded Lattica to bring a simpler, gentler IT experience to the world.
Ten years ago he fell in love with the world of Linux and has been an active member of the community ever since. Linux brought back the fascination and excitement that he experienced 20 years ago when he discovered the Sinclair Spectrum. Now his experience spans all areas of computing, from tiny embedded devices to large mission-critical systems. He has led many successful projects in both small and large organizations.
Dimi graduated from University of Toronto with a Master's Degree in Computer Science. In his spare time he plays golf and spends time with his family.
Mihai Popa
Co-Founder & Vice-President
Born in Bucharest, Mihai Popa earned his Master's Degree in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
He moved to Canada in 1995 and started in the world of scheduling at Trapeze Software. Later he became a consultant working in the automotive and financial sector. He developed several large enterprise applications for companies such as GM, Barcleys, AMEX, and D&B. An accomplished Software Engineer with extensive experience in the full life-cycle of the software design process, he is looking to share his 10+ years of IT experience.
Mihai started Lattica in 2004 and is now leading Lattica's Services and Consulting area.
Alina Silvestrovici
Co-Founder & CNG
An enthusiastic Linux user, Alina Silvestrovici believes in the promise of Linux and Open Source and wants to help bring this technology to a larger audience.
Creative and hard working, she became the Chief Non-Geek at Lattica and is in charge of legal matters, the website, and organizational issues. She is happy to be attending University of Toronto Law School to pursue a J.D. in Law.
Aside from drafting legal documents, Alina enjoys playing golf, dancing, and swimming.
Bogdan Mincic
CIO
A performance-driven IT professional, Bogdan Mincic has over 7 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies.
Through his ability in combining extensive knowledge of IT, engineering, accounting, finance, marketing, and management, he has focused all his efforts in decreasing the Total Cost of Ownership in large corporations. His solutions are now implemented and deployed worldwide.
Bogdan has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
